Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Your email and name (from Google sign-in)
- Your exam target and exam date
- Your practice attempts, accuracy, and session data
- Concept cards, notes, and questions you save for revision
- Subscription metadata if you upgrade (plan, status, renewal date, and Razorpay subscription/customer/order IDs)
- AI feature usage counters (chat turns, debriefs, solutions used this month) for billing and quota enforcement
- Device and browser type (for error monitoring)
What we DON'T collect
- Card numbers, UPI handles, or any payment instrument details — Razorpay handles these directly and we never see them
- Location data
- Contacts or any data from outside Jarvis
How we use it
- To personalize your study plan, recommendations, and AI debriefs
- To show you your own performance data
- To enforce plan limits and credit allowances on AI features
- To process subscriptions, top-ups, and referral bonuses
- To improve the product (anonymized, aggregated only)
- We never sell your data to third parties
- We never share individual data with coaching institutes

Billing data
When you upgrade to Pro or buy a credit top-up, Razorpay collects and processes your payment instrument details on their own servers. We receive only the metadata needed to activate and manage your subscription — the Razorpay customer ID, subscription/order ID, payment status, and the amount and currency of the charge.
Data retention
- Your study data is kept as long as your account is active
- You can download or delete your data from Settings
- Deleted accounts: data removed within 30 days
- Billing records (invoices, payment IDs) are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, even after account deletion
Students under 18
- Jarvis is designed for JEE aspirants, many of whom are minors
- We do not knowingly collect data beyond what is needed for the study platform
- Parents can request data deletion by emailing us
